Bringing in the New Year, we align with our highest desires, and set goals to attain them.
This requires overcoming the challenges associated with achieving successful resolutions, which is consistent with our Hawaiian Value of Ho’omau. We want to continue doing great things and strive to do them even better in the coming year. In researching this Hawaiian Value, I came upon a creative writer, named Leialoha. She created the Ho’omau Challenge. She says, “The Ho’omau challenge can help you overcome these self doubts, and even self abuse. By learning how to set goals and make plans to reach them, you can learn what it means to be steady and constant, no matter what challenges might come your way.”
