About Kellie Haraga

Born on Maui and returning from Oahu with an MS in Counseling Psychology, I am very excited to be able to be back on my home island and share with others what Maui has to offer.

 

After working for a short while in restaurant and retail and having spent much of the last decade working as a student counselor in the DOE, I have a lot of experience working with others; addressing their needs and listening carefully to find best-fit solutions. From this background, I have learned the importance of relationships and understanding one another. I learned to maintain a positive attitude and problem solve by thinking of the next step if something doesn’t go as planned. This type of mindset has helped others greatly - I’d like to think I’ve been an inspiration to them!

 

Once I settled back in on Maui, I was attracted to the field of real estate. My interest in relationship building and problem solving are perfect skill sets for this profession. So, I was licensed as a Realtor Salesperson with Compass. With the addition of a new baby boy to the family, I found that the 24x7x365 life of an agent was not a good fit. However, I’ve learned a great deal about the Compass systems and the business which help me greatly in the role as Dave’s Executive Assistant. I am handling a host of tasks, enabling him to focus on his clients. These tasks include Marketing, Database management, Blogging, Social Media posting, Newsletter creation and its distribution plus much more.
